Default Ebay Holster $510!

Just wondering if anyone else finds some of the details of the sale of this 1916 dated holster curious. 6505033924 is the number. The two high bidders are interesting; going by their histories, one appears to be a woman and neither has any Luger buying history.

Not to sound sexist Geo, but maybe buying for their spouse as a present...

Looks a bit suspicious, don't it? Maybe she wants it, to store her Burgundy Barbie Doll in.

Not sure why "bokstru17" would keep bidding against herself even when there was no reserve to uncover...???

I thought the holster looks nice but seemed to have a lot of new, very white stitching...I would have stopped at $ 125 or so...

Pete...

Pete, this is an artifact of the ebay autobid feature. If I were to put in a $100 maximum bid on a $10 item and you were to bid against me manually ebay would show each of your manual bids but only my last autobid.

Note the following auction. I was doublejake and yak3upw manually bid against my autobid. It is a good thing to know when you are looking at an auction history.

doublejake ( 10) US $61.00 Jan-11-05 02:30:57 PST

yak3upw ( 19) US $60.00 Jan-12-05 08:07:25 PST

yak3upw ( 19) US $54.00 Jan-11-05 13:54:08 PST

bankrupcy-liquidations ( 1912) US $47.79 Jan-10-05 19:12:45 PST

Hi Heniz,

Thanks...got it.

I missed the other bidder in the middle of the "bokstru17" bids...

maybe I should have gotten my wife to bid a little on my HK holster... But then again, I don't know if Tom A.'s patience would match his good humor!
