A Schupo
In the same drawer as the pair of 1911s, was a 1920, made in 1920 and not a re-work, marked for the Schupo.
DWM, 1920, 4" barrel, no police safety, serial 401a, and on the frontstrap; Schupo Dz. 202 Here is the frontstrap; Last edited by Patrick Sweeney; 01-21-2013 at 05:07 PM. |

A very scarce pistol Patrick. I own Danzig Schupo P.08 #5 as well as an S98/05 bayonet that is property marked in this manner to the Danzig Schupo. You can see this gripstrap marking on page 75 of the new Tinker & Gruber book, "Police Lugers".
Thanks for showing it.
