Post 1941 holster

Just recently won this on ebay. Can anyone tell me anything about it, or the maker? Thought it might go nicely with the 1936 S/42 I just got.
Any facts, speculations or opinions eagerly accepted. Thanks! Ron Marked WaA 195

Frank, Thanks. Would it be a close enough match to Herman's pistol? Do you think Eva would swoon? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

I was putting some Hide Food on this holster. After applying it to the back of the holster. A hand written name popped up to the right of the belt loops, "Baum". Kind of a coincidence, since I knew a guy in the Navy, Hanz "Pete" Baum. His Father had been an AA gunner in the German Army, was captured, and placed in a prison camp in New Jersy.
He and a friend escaped one night. They hid in a drainage ditch all night. Waist deep in cold water. The next day some MP's found them and told them the war was over. Germany had surrendered.
He told Pete that was the stupidest thing he had ever lived to regret.
He went back to Germany, married Pete's Mom, and after Pete was born (in Germany), they moved to New Jersy. Pete ,not a US citizen, had joined the Navy to gain his citizenship.
Just thought it a coincidence, I wonder if this was his Dad's holster? (I just noticed that the name is actually visible in the last photo.)

Just blathering! Ron
