Thumbs up 4OÃ?? mark!

G«±tl©me±,

§
We are quickly approaching the 4O?th member mark! This nºmber will most probably be past within the ±ext couple of days. ¶
§
I do ±ot ±otice very many of the higher membership nºmbers participating in the discussions. What do you r©comm©nd that might enc¶urage more input from newer members¿ ¶
§
Is there an Ã?´ptiÃ?²n available in this forum, such as in many other forums, that would show how many members (and who) are currently logged in to the site? This would allow greeting and pro-active conversation with members whÃ?¶ would otherwise remaÃ?¯n sÃ?Â*lent (and evÃ?ªntually drift Ã?Â¥way to other interests). Ã?¶

Wes,

Regarding your na¯ve concern over the silence of many new forum members, you obviously do not comprehend the disturbing truth. As I see it, there are perhaps 70 or so real luger enthusiasts among us. The other 300 plus so-called "forum members" are undoubtedly federal agents, watchdogs from left-wing special interest groups, and filthy communists (mostly from California) who are spying on us. Please excuse me, I have to adjust my aluminum foil headgear because Martians are attempting to read my thoughts again. KFS

Carl, hate to disagree but I will anyway. I post a lot (yeah, go on and say it, too much) and I'm not a Luger enthusiast. I just like aggravating those of you who are. Sure will be glad when the novelty of the double dots ect wears off.

Karl (aka Liberal Georgian),

Just goes to show that we are sending secret messages from our keyboards without our knowledge.
Adjust the left side a little more, please.

My goodness, Roadkill, that is almost begging for abuse! <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />
By the way, how did Bongos get to be registered user #397, #398, & #399? I have watched this all day and am amazed that the moniker of 'Bongos' goes to three different registered users!
What do you reckon, Roadkill?

Hey Wes, you are having way too much fun with these characters! Browse your Windows Folder or "Find" a file named charmap. This provides the data for most fonts!!! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />

Frank,

I am still musing on the "enough monkeys, enough keyboards, enough time" equation. Sometimes I believe that I am a participant.

Karl, those are actually the CIA mind control satellites sending those signals. I always wear my aluminum foil cap when I work in the garden.

Boys,

Better to try to laugh at yourself, than to laugh at another. You will be more on target. Liberals are so trusting, but abusive with making fun of others. If a person is not afraid of laughter and ridicule, you have no weapon.

I don't recommend the metal hat out in the garden.
I got whapped by lightning a while back, wasn't even raining and I wasn't even wearing a metal hat. Was also in a truck wreck, ended up with 20 something staples down the center of my head. When I got out in the sun they would heat up and give a real bad headache & kept hanging on my hat when I tried to take it off. Not a good idea with the aluminum foil hat. Not at all. Its a whole lot easier to get banged up than it is to get over it.
