Default Blank Toggle HK Luger?

I was at a gun show and saw a very sharp looking Luger chambered for 9mm priced $975. Had a blank toggle and the chamber had a small HK within a circle and thats it, 4 digit serial number on both sides of the gun but did not see any other parts numbered in either style and no proof markings of any kind. Was that one of the ones made post war? I didn't even think about buying it because it just didn't seem right and I couldn't find any information about it.
