Default Tool 2.12

Just bought a 41 byf & it came with this tool.
I believe it's much earlier - any thoughts?

It is may a Weimar era police unit marked tool, but it could also be Imperial Army unit marked, as the larger number 2 would be the company and the smaller numbers the inventory. There are no letters that would help distinguish which period. Stamped with numbers on both sides which is rather unusual, as neither is side is Xed out.

Nice tool! It is an Imperial tool for a early DWM Luger (1908- 1910). I agree with Joe and think it could be more the Imperial Army unit mark.
I have one with same acceptance mark and letters 8.2. (8. kompany weapon 2)
