Luger Part Identification
I have a Luger which I can not find out any information about a part which is on this Luger. Just above the trigger plate there is a small bar which is riveted in place, possibly to keep downward pressure on the top of the trigger plate. Can anyone tell me about this part? None of my other Luger's have this part.
I have photos if you can assist me, thank you. |

It sounds like a Police sear safety.

Hi Charlie,
And welcome to the forum! As George mentioned, that should be a "Sear Safety". It was specified by police organizations and some others and installed (and often removed from) a relatively small number of Lugers. The forum here appreciates pictures. Use the full "Add Reply" function and you'll see a place to add attachments toward the bottom of the dialog. Marc Marc
