Triple K magazines
Hi guys, has anyone used any of the Triple K magazines, and if so are they worth the money. I want to buy a couple of mags for my shooter and was wondering how these stack up. I've seen some reviews in which they were praised and others in which they were said to be cheap.

As a follow up to my earlier post, I've heard that the loading tools don't work as well with triple k mags as mec-gars anyone know if this is true?

Triple K mags are exactly what you pay for. they only hold 7 rounds versus 8 in a Mec-Gar mag, and the quality difference is unmistakeable.
The follower buttons on the Triple K mags also are very unreliable for operating the holdopen after the last shot. The button design is not close enough to original specs to work well with loading tools either. I recommend Mec-Gar mags for the aftermarket type, but my favorite mags are the FXO extruded type. They aren't cheap, but they don't wear out either. The best pistol mags EVER made for any pistol IMHO.

Thanks for the reply John, you've told me all I need to know I'm going with the Mec-gar. I was favoring them anyway because of the 8 rounds to 7 rounds anyway.
