Default Post-war Mauser rework value

What is the value of a postwar Mauser rework marked as made in 1997 in mint condition? Hard for me to judge, never having seen one for sale.

I saw one of these for sale at the NC Gun Collector's Association show in Salisbury this February priced at $1500. It did not sell at that price.

Does $1000 seem to be in the ballpark?

It should not be more expensive than Interarms "Original Mauser Parabellum", IMO. The logic is simple: Mauser vs Mauser, postwar vs postwar, and original vs reworked.

From my limited knowledge, I would pay 1k for a 95% rework. I have only seen pics, however it is factory and an original. I have had 2 new model 29/70 frames and neither worked reliably. If you do not buy it would you please private message me with details of where it is? Thanks,
Vince

Between $800 - $1200 should be realistic. Not for the quality of workmanship, but as the last P08 pistols that Mauser was involved in.

Technically speaking, they are nothing more than 'pimped VoPo's'
