post WW2 mags now with Pics!!!!!
Hi guys
i have been offered a mag for a Luger. According to the seller: "mag comes from the American Luger in stainless. The Luger made in stainless in the 1993 years." The base is wood. Will it fit the original German Lugers and what is a fair price to pay for this mag? Thanks (again!!) Last edited by alamar; 01-06-2010 at 01:28 AM. |

The stainless mags shown WILL also work in a standard WW2 or before luger. I usually sell this type @$35 each or 3 for $100. TH

The Mitchell era mags will work in a standard Luger. The Stoeger era mags will not, as the design was altered to accommodate the 40 S&W cartridge as well as the 9 mm Parabellum. Likewise, the Stoeger erea pistols will not take a standard magazine. 1993 would have been during the Mitchell era.
Lugerdoc shows the standard magazine. The Stoeger variant is much smoother appearing on the sides. Sadly, the 40 S&W chambering never went into production. I would like to have seen one in 357 Sig. |

Funny to see that these magazines share many design features with the earlier Triple-K ones, which makes me believe that both the Mitchell and the Triple-K were made by one supplier?
