Default Grandpa's FN1905 Cap Gun

Digging around in the closet recently I found this FN 1905 (or Colt 1908) -inspired cast iron cap gun that belonged to my grandfather when he was a child.
He was born in 1921 and grew up very poor and didn't have too many toys but he hung on to this one and passed it on to me before he himself passed.
It's in pretty good condition for its age.
The nickel plating is better than you see on many real pistols!

There's no maker mark anywhere but I think it's interesting that you can just make out a faint "pat applied for" mark then the patent date appears to be hand stamped.
It's still functional and maybe someday I'll hunt up some roll caps to try it out.
