I must thank both Norm and fellow luger enthuastics for your kindness, common concern, who harbour no alterier motive but to look out for me and our fellow collectors, Im proud to even receive an email. I hae had over 25 years practicing trial law, protecting those injured, neglected or forgotten. I do beleive the Good Lord repays favors

Snookums,

in the past 10-15 years, well purchased Lugers have done much better than gold. About 13-15 years ago I anguished over paying $1000 for a nice artillery. Now those nice artilleries are going for $2850-3500. I don't know where its going to end, but a nice artillery has some interesting history associated with it. Thats an added value. I deeply regret passing over some of the Lugers that I looked at in those early years.

All original Navy stocks, and many, many re-pros, are interchangable. Only occasionally does one encounter a stock that will not cleanly mate with a given pistol. When this occurs, your first thought should be "Replica attaching yoke."
