garage sale find
I was pretty happy. But I'll be willing to trade straight even-steven for a certain French 1906 recently discussed on this board, as I'm in it for the same amount and it wouldn't be fair to let him suffer with a perfect flea market find he couldn't ever shoot...
1914 mfg Springfield 1911, sales tag marked "old pistol. Probably Army". I just happened to be driving through Natchitoches today for work and passed the garage sale at lunch time and decide to stop. $400.00 was the asking price.
