Question Jan Stillâ??s Books

I went to the gun show in West Palm Beach Sunday, although I saw some Lugers (all over priced) the most notable thing that I saw, I would like to share with you guys.

Jan Stillâ??s Books
Imperial Lugers $250.00
Third Reich Luger $250.00

This dealer had a few copies of each and he held his price firm. Thatâ??s over 4 X the original cost.

Is this cost consistence with prices in other parts of the country ? or are these just Palm Beach prices

Jim

Hi Jim,

I have seen the Imperial book sell for $ 200 here on the west coast and even a bit higher on eBay. I sold off my extra copy about 2 months ago for $ 150 and felt a bit "greedy" about that...

Why would anyone pay that much for the 3rd. Reich book when you can still buy a new copy from Jan on his bookstore web site for only $ 69 plus S/H ?

Pete, I wrote several emails on Jan's website to buy a copy of 3rd Reich.
As a french guy, I cannot send french check to USA, and I asked to pay either with Paypal or with my Visa card. They never answered me...
So I bought my book on Ebay...and I paid it "that much" because I could not get it on Jan's website...

Let the feeding frenzy begin. I have been meaning to buy Jan's Third Reich book for about a year now and have never done it. I called him today, and he is sold out. If anyone has an extra copy that they would like to sell, send me a private message. Thank you. Randy
