Default The largest collection of Lugers in the world

THIS is pretty remarkable... the largest Luger collection in the world!
Also the largest collection of 22 cal German training rifles in the world.
VERY cool.... Would love to actually go in there and spend at least an afternoon looking around.!!

Probably should put a limit on my credit card.... or leave it at home...

Interesting, but I would not call a "dealer's stock" a collection, JMHO.

Yup... Bob Simpson has been quietly buying .22 Caliber German training rifles for several decades. He would come across them at gun shows and other events, and buy every one he found.

Bob's Luger room is pretty special.

I got to see the collection a couple of years ago when I was visiting him while working on the Mauser book Mauro and Gerben just published.

Oh... and he showed me early galleys on the new .22 Caliber German Training Rifle book he is about to publish. It is a remarkable book, beautifully assembled and published. As I understand things, it's in final production and printing right now. Keep your eye out for it.

When the book is published, I'll wager Bob's rifles start becoming available for sale...
