I have a 1911 Erfurt marked to the same Saxon unit complete with the Saxon 102 IR unit history. I collect bayonets with unit marks that match the unit marks on Lugers in my collection. If you decide to sell it keep me in mind. Jan |

Mr Still,
I have an excellent condition butcher sawtooth that is unit marked. I will proceed to the hideaway post haste and get the markings for you. My only interest is to have a sawtooth to hang on the wall on the G98. RK Just got back, its an Erfurt, marked 40.2.71, on top edge next to hilt is crown w over 15, has 44 stamped in bottom of bayonet ring. RK |

Thanks for the offer but I only collect bayonets that are matched to Lugers in my collection. Is it marked 40.R.2.71. Jan |

Sorry, no R. I think its rather detailed(?) that they marked reserve unit equipment considering that when the unit was called up as they immediately were that they were no longer reserve.

Why don't I just buy your 1911 Erfurt? Brandon |

You dont want to buy this Luger: its not mint(90%-95%), greatly overpriced, and not from Ralph. However, if you are really interested, its shown as the March Luger in my 1999 calendar. In any case if you ever decide to sell the bayonet consider me. Jan |
