1908 commercial private purchase
Posted here due to the military connection. 1908 commercial #40080 in very nice condition. It has c/b c/u proofing on the barrel extension, and c/b c/u c/g proofing and 118,25 bore dia. and ser # on barrel. No hold open added. It bears a "P" stamp in the mag well. On the back strap, the pistol is engraved with a small cursive v. and capital W. and leads me to believe it belonged to an officer that was a noble named von W..... I have yet to search the Rangeliste for von W names, but pretty sure that there will be quite a few. I will update if I narrow down the man further.

I fondled that piece at the SOS and I personally think that it looks better in hand than in the photographs.
