Default Magazine Help

Hi All,
I have a 1920 Luger that came with one magazine. The 3rd round usually creates a FTF.
First off, any guesses as to why?
Second question, I have been looking for a Mec-Gar magazine for months with zero luck. Are there any other magazines out there for my 9mm P08 that I should consider?

Thanks,
Dave

Default Mag woes!

Hi javalinadave, I feel your pain! I also am looking for Mec-Gar mags and they seem to be as rare as red frogs hairs!
But, as for proper function on your original mag, it can be revised and should work as designed? If you are set on a replacement that has the best chance of working correctly, the two best choices are original "fxo" & "code 122" mags, or, the last factory produced mag. for the 06/29 Swiss luger. I personally think they are the best of all the original Luger mags. But, a new Mec-Gar is better than both! Good luck, best to you, til....lat'r.....GT

Default Welcome to the forum!

I really hate myself when I do this, but being as you are a relitively new member, and just want to make youe Luger function as it should, send me your magazine. I will revise/repair it to function properly in your Luger. Amazing what a couple of crown royals and coke will do to adjust your attitude.
I will not charge you anything for this service, and I'm relitively confident I can make your mag work as it was intended... Email me at:
gctomeks@msn.com and we will get started.. best to you, til....lat'r....GT....

I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank GT for his help. He lives about 30 minutes from me and I took him up on his offer to help with my magazine feed issue. Not only did he fix my issues I also received an awesome education on my new to me P08 and the world of Lugers in general. Members like GT are a treasure to this community.
Thank you!
Dave
