Interarm Models
I just acquired some Interarm pistols. I have been trying to fiqure these out and think I have got a handle on the types.
Please correct my errors. There are two grades of Interarms Mausers 1- Commemorative with nice felt lined wood box 2- Regular with a styrofoam and blue paper box Them there are 4 sub types 1-LP08 2-P08 3-29/70 4" or 6", 7.65 or 9 mm 4-06/73 4" or 6", 7.65 or 9 mm Type 3 has the swiss style trigger and grip, and type 4 has the P08 style and both 3+4 have the grip safety.and no shoulder lug. I know there are more areas in which the guns can be divide into but I just trying to get a handle on these things. Any comments will be appreciated. Jerry |

Jerry, There are many more commerative Mauser Parabellums, than the 2 that you mentioned plus a couple of target models and several styles of engraved &/or plated ones. Unfortunately, I'm currently sold out of "The Mauser Parabellum" books by Francis Allen, by you might want to look for one, if this is your desired area of collecting. TH PS:If you search this site, you will also find some topics on some variations in marking and machining of the standard issue ones. Also, Mauser used a Green & White box for sales outside of the USA. Only Interarms had the Blue & White boxes with their name on them.

Hi,
Mauser also used the blue boxes without Interarms reference for sales over here in Europe. Some interesting Mauser Parabellum remnants can be found on this site: www.teuto-arms.de That company bought remaining Mauser Parabellums and parts from the factory in the late 90's. |

Hi Jerry,
In addition you can have a look at my web site and in particular in the Mauser Parabellum gallery. You can find several pictures as well as some more information about numbering and some other stuff. Have fun. Cheers, Mauro

Mauro, I may be an idiot but I was unaware you had that website. I guess I just never bothered to look at your signature line before...
Great info! Thanks for taking the time to put it up and run it. Very nice work...
