Default Need Help Identifying Grip Marking

Found this inside the grips of a WW-I Luger, but it looks like a WW-II mark. Can anyone positively identify this?

Thanks, Luke

It is a WW11 mark for Mauser known as E/655.

Luke, Lonnie is correct about the E/655 waffenamp and the 19 should be the last 2 digits of your serial number. Tom h

Default Thanks Lonnie & Tom. :)

I was pretty sure that this was the same figure found on the side of my byf-41, but I still don't always trust myself to know the answers. Good to be able to go to the experts.
