Fifty three years, that's nothing! I've been married fifty nine years, but to two different wives, does that count?

Eric, I've just seen this thread, since I don't come to the forum that often now.

I'm ever so sorry to hear your bad news, I wish Debby a good and complete recovery.

Prayers sent, and a friendly hug to both of you.

Yes, my father was a lifetime smoker and he died of lung cancer a couple of years ago - I miss him, very irritating not being able to call him

Both of my parents passed from smoking related causes.
I've lost so many friends from this sh*t that I can't can't believe the stuff is still legal.
I tried it at a very young age ... peer pressure nonsense.
Quickly saw what a stupid and looser proposition it was.

'Oh, I see ... inhale burning plant material that screws my lungs up and pay how much per pack ??'

I got this 'ashtray' for guests in my home ... It is by a brilliant Portuguese artist Miguel Fernando Lopez ... milo for short.

If your gonna smoke in my home your gonna be made to think about the consequences ya ??

Oddly enough they choose to smoke outside, for which I am thankful.

I have a lot of questions on when our appointment with her oncologist on tuesday!,, Debby told me he had traces off blood in the toilet. She waited to long! Please take a test at least once or more a year. With Debby it moved to her liver! Now 2 years of surgery and chemo starting next week! They say liver is our organ that rejuvenate. I hope so!!! She doesn't drink or smoke! I will share with you any knowledge I pick up!

I quite smoking a pack a day about 2 years ago, but still chewing the nico gum. Thanks, for your reinforcing story. It's a tough habit to break, but the gum is not as bad as the smoke. TH

Really sorry to hear the bad news Eric. They took out about 50% of my left lung (yes, I smoked for years) in June and I'm still trying to gain some strength. The chemo was even worse, as I had an allergic reaction that just about shut down what was left of my breathing apparatus. Lots of prednisone seems to have helped, but it has its own side effects.

We met for over 4 hours with the onchologist and staff! Surgical samples show it is part of the liver. Once a month a 4 hour chemo tranfusion is required~ Debby was relieved that hair loss with new drugs are rare! She has to avoid red meat, and add to a list, Thank God Theres hope for at least a few more years! Thanks For Support! Love Who You love every day! Life can be fleeting! The earlier noticed something different or blood in stools, From there it goes to colon the Llver .Debby never drank or smoked! GET YOUR ASS TO A DOCTOR! or take the home test! Eric I will share our experiance as I would hate to lose part of my other family!!!! Eric, Debby https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-...s/syc-20370588
