Default Combat saber unit marking

I have a Bavarian combat saber marked B.2.R.C.2.50.. The "R" is a Script font which usually means "Reserve". I need an interpretation of this marking.

Hi Neil,
I think you're correct: Bavarian 2nd Reserve Cavalry Regt., 2nd Platoon, 50th Saber.
I've never thought about this before but have you ever seen a German left handed saber? I know from my older brother's experience growing up in Germany in the thirties, that left-handedness was regarded as a terrible deformity which had to be overcome by an effort of will. I doubt that a leftie would have been welcome in a Cavalry Regiment.
Regards, Norm

Reserve Chevauleger Regiment. It's Bavarian.

Thanks Guys. No Norm, I have never seen a saber intended for a left handed person.
