Default .442 Webley

In consideration of bidding on a British Bulldog mfd. by Webley (their #2, I think) I was looking for a source for ammo for it. AKA .442 Webley, .442 Kurz, .442 CF Let's just say I'm not having much luck.

David,

You will have to roll your own. I think Starline makes 44 Webley brass.

I figured. My poking around also revealed that .44 magnum brass can be wildcatted into sped.

I insist on reasonable shoot-ability as much as inherent charm in whatever I quest. Unobtainable ammo trumps the appeal the "Bulldog" shape, so I'll wait for a more readily accessible caliber. Moreover, I take it that these were originally black powder rounds?

Thank you, gentlemen.

No, but I found its little brother in .320 short. For that one, some examples work with S&W .32 short...or so some say.
