Jesse

Very nice BYF 42 PO-8 you have acquired. Really like the plastic grips. Very very nice.

Thanks for sharing.

If I may ask, why did you blot out the first 2 digits of the SN? That is the second time today someone has purposely blotted out part of their SN in a post.

People blot out numbers for security reasons, the same as in on-line vehicle sales. It is probably not necessary but so be it.

PS: And by the way, that is one beautiful gun!

I don’t like having the full SN open to the public especially with the anti crowd being as malicious as they are these days.

I will agree with Mr. Uden, it is a beautiful example. I’m a lot less concerned about the anti-rhetoric given the current state of the SCOTUS

EVERY gun owner has a different opinion on serial numbers. Most say its for security. Well, you showed you owned it (I know, thats not helpful for getting members to post) - Others say someone will say its theirs - show me a legal case where its happened (twice I have been called where a police officer was asking me about a DWM and something - and I explained that an actual serial number includes the year made and suffix and manufacturer. VERY confusing for non-collectors.

Just because one is paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out there.

This is first time I’ve been called paranoid for not posting the SN of a firearm on a open firearms forum. To each there own I guess anyways just wanted to share the newest and nicest member of my collection.

and... just because you say you are not paranoid, doesn't mean somebody isn't out to get you!
