Default G Date e Suffix?

Can some one ID this letter? I'm thinking it's an "e" but not 100% sure.

The frame suffix is a "e". Not sure about the magazine.

Yes, I would agree as the later proofs suggest the letter "e" is what is on the frame.

Just not sure about the letter on the mag. Seems strange that the serial number matches the frame and what are the chances of matching a mag. later in it's life.

Can you identify the acceptance stamp on the bottom of the magazine?

Unfortunately not. I can't even get a good pic of it with my camera.

My guess is the magazine has a "c" suffix but has been sanding down with new numbers added. This could have occurred many years ago.

Doesn't look under magnification it's been messed with. Just hard to imagine find a mag with the same serial number but different latter suffix.
