Default God knows i'm not the fastest animal in the forrest

I mean you can entertain me for hours on end with a paper that has turn written on both sides, but:
Prvi Partizan sells a fine 7,65 Parabellum cartridge that features a 93gr FMJ bullet, but they dont sell the bullet alone.
They sell 7,65 brass and it is fine quality but no suiting bullets, how daft is that?
Thats Apple thinking!
You can buy the whole deal or sod you.

I haven't found anyone who sells appropriate 7.65 parabellum bullets. In searching I've come across several people with suggestions for substitutes, but none of the suggested substitutes are actually 7.65.

Fiocchi loads a nice bullet(93gr FMJ) in their brass that is sold in the USA as complete ammo, but they do not sell the bullet alone for handloaders. I don't know for sure if Winchester/Western is still, occasionally, producing 7.65P ammo for sale. It sure would be nice if Winchester/Western would sell just their bullet to the public.

If one just thinks a minute, why would a cartridge producer want to sell brass or projectiles???

Called econ 101 or capitalism, take your pick.

If you have saturated your percentage of market share, you grow the pie by making additional offerings of related products.

They have production of the components in volume. If you're not going to buy their loaded ammo because you reload, why not sell you components? As long as you make incremental profit, you do fine since you wouldn't have bought their loaded ammo anyway.

The lack of projectiles is interesting. They must think that they can interfere with the reloading marketplace that way and drive more sales to loaded ammo. Of course, other sources would interfere with that play.

Most all of the major American ammo companies (Winchester, Remington, CCI, Speer, etc.) have been selling their brass and projectiles for years and years to handloaders. It is just the near obsolete calibers that suffer, and for obvious reasons. These companies don't care much about the 30 Luger shooters, as there is not much profit involved for them.

I use the Hornady 93 grain JSP .309 diameter bullet for reloading. I think I paid $12-14 per 100.

You have apparently found a bullet that I have looked for, but never found. I have:

(1) Hornady 30cal .309 90gr XTP JHP bullets

(2) Hornady 30cal .308 86gr JSP bullets

Hornady website does not show a 93gr .309 JSP bullet. Where did you find them??

For the last "x" years, loaded ammo has been in relatively short supply; under which circumstances it makes eminently good sense to sell the highest value/highest profit items while your factory is running at capacity.

I fully understand the economics of production and markets, but thanks for the lesson anyway.
