Default firing pin

hi, i would ask for this strange mark on firing pin.
the number 4 seems marked two times or what?

Not too strange. Some people call this "tool bounce" or "double strike",
due to any number of factors, the stamping tool sometimes bounces when striking the work piece, leaving a "ghost" or "shadow" mark of the intended stamping.

The number dies used are not the correct size for Mauser. TH
