"Murder In The Gunroom"
...Is a story by H. Beam Piper about...Yes, a gun collector's murder...
Someone here had mentioned it some time back, I made a mental note to see if I could find it... ...And while browsing The Gutenberg Project for Rick Brant and Brains Benton mysteries, I saw "Murder In The Gunroom"... It free to download and read at your leisure; I choose the text format and read them with Notepad++ so I can keep track of what page I've left off at... Anyway, here it is - http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/sear...y=h+beam+piper Hmmmm...It seems to be his 2nd most popular download... I read a lot of science fiction back in the 50's and 60's, and have several of Pipers novels in my permanent collection...And now I see that Gutenberg has the Rick Brant science mysteries too! Oh be still my heart!

There are a number of formats available from Gutenberg.
You may find a free opensource program useful for reading and working with E-Books. It's called "Calibre" and can be downloaded from the project's website: https://calibre-ebook.com/download
