Odd Scope ID?
I posted this on Still's forum. In a hurry so don't have time to duplicate here.
Any ideas on what it is? This was given to a friend. He would like to know what it is and if it is of any value. Thanks, Ron http://www.gunboards.com/luger/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5290

I've got one of these as well, looks like the fellows on the other board nailed it on the head: for the recoiless rifle, M86F is used with Mount, Sight: M74 and Sight, Front: M26 on Rifle, 57 Millimeter: HE, M306 or M306A1. Mine is Korean war vintage, identical to this one.

A 57mm eh? Now I know what those little SOBs in black jammies were looking at us through. They put a round through our bow. Fortunately it was probably captured from the French and the ammo had degraded. It was a dud. Otherwise I probably wouldn't be writing this.
