Default 1900 American Eagle

I'm pondering buying this pistol and would like opinions of the asking price of $2000. It is all matching numbers except the magazine which is a wood bottom Wiemar police stamped #2. The finish is worn in all the usual places and it is stamped 'Germany" on the frame front under the barrel. It has the 4.75 inch barrel. The bad part is that the toggle lock is broken off the frame. I know it is expensive to repair that. Similar pistols with no broken toggle latch are going for prices far higher. Do you think this would be a good shooter?
Thanks
