Default List of Rare Lugers.

Hi,

On this thread I see that a few people have mentioned the 1904 Navy. Is there really such a thing? I ask this question because I have been told by a few very experienced collectors, that they have never seen a real one. At least one that wasn't "helped" in some way. They actually doubted that there were any 1904's. In Still's book, Imperial Lugers, he shows a picture of two and gives a serial range of 36-1148, but mentions that the 3 he looked at all had been refinished and had different toggle locks. Has anyone actually seen one that was all original and had not been reworked or altered in any way?
