MG, your 1920 (really a 1923) Commercial should have a blank bottom mag. Unless it was pressed into service by the Nazi's.

Hello Doug
Thanks, it has a wood base, Alum. body no numbers so I guess it's right. This is my first matching Luger and I just bought a loading tool numbered 16 which is the last two numbers on gun. Now I need a hoister to match it with.

Thank you
Michael

You can add:

FXO / 37 magazine serial number 3959-u to the list of magazines available to the owner of the matching Mauser Luger it started life with... this mag also has a (+) plus sign on it, meaning it is the spare mag.

I own a byf 41 with all matching numbers including mag. Serial number is 1011 t and my mag is fxo extruded 1011 t +
I am looking for the original 1011 t. If anyone has a mag for sale that fits this time frame that would give me a spare, let me know number and cost.
Thanks
wjg

To all posters in this thread in pages 1 and 2:

Since my memory is almost 72 years old, I used my computer to copy ALL of the above posts, then copied them into an outgoing message window and then printed the whole shebang. I have not counted the pages but it is bunch. Now I have them when I open my Fort Knox. I do not have that many Lugers, but none of them have the correct magazine. The list will help me find them - I hope.

Regards,
Hoyt M. Weathers

My 1916 DWM needs a correct 4462m mag and a set of 62 grips. I've looked through Mr. Hallock's List Nos. 17, 18, 19, and 20 with no luck.

Thanks;
Bob Penn
