Default 41 byf

I have a fair idea of what I have, but hoping to flesh out some detail. My apologies in advance to Marc, who has checked this out on another forum. Stocks appear original, threaded for stock screws, might have 03 on left panel, very faint. Might be Hank wanting to see it! Will try to post pix. Click image for larger version

Carefully remove the grips and photograph the inside of them in detail. There are a small number of variations, and members here can confirm originality and which variation. Also see our FAQ PDF which has some examples photographed. Pages 15, 16 and 24.

The threaded inside holes in these grips were probably used in the fabrication process, not for mounting them.

Do ask any specific questions you have. Your Luger is a nice example of a 41 byf.

if I were you I’d also pay attention to the other trending post of a byf 41 that’s been on here recently. You’ll learn a lot there.
