Font & size
Hi Chromeed, I can, but it will not be the same font and size as the original... and, will have none of the accompanying correct proofs or acceptance marks... just shooter numbers, for shooter type guns! The (much larger) font will be exactly the same as on the custom aluminum bottoms shown earlier... I'm not really in the arena to try and restore numbers or number parts incorrectly... Like I said, just shooter numbers for shooter guns! No harm, no foul... .....Best to you, til...lat'r....GT...

By now everybody knows that GT is the go to guy if your magazine does not work correctly, is dented or otherwise screwed up. Mine worked fine but it didn't look very good with the finger grip, dished, area on one side chipped.
This was a matching number mag for a nice 1917 P08 so I really wanted it to look right. The result was absolutely unbelivable!! If you looked close you could tell where the extra material was grafted in but it wasn't easy. Anybody who has one of these chipped mags and wants it to look right again needs to contact this artisan. Unfortunately I can not provide photos as the day after I got the magazine back I got an offer to good to refuse on the pistol. Thank you GT!! |
