The box looks military in origin... is there a lot number on the box? that might be a clue to when they were made.

My guess would be from the late 40s- early 50s. Western Cartrige co. Was a division of Olin, purchased by Winchester and became Winchester-Western at about this time. If I remember correctly. Ron
