Artillery Treat In AutoMag...
A very nice 1917 LP-08 Artillery luger is shown in this month's NAPCA's AutoMag newsletter...
It is serial # 1 !!! ...presumably with no suffix... Not often you see that in any military luger series... Photos made available by Jim Cate; gun appears to belong to Nico Van Gijn in Holland... Also... a very detailed and well-thought out article by Jim Keenan about Luger barrel/reciever "witness marks"... Glad I sent in my renewal fees... Regards, Pete... |

I thought that the Dutch were very anti-gun? Its a nice looking artillery Luger though. I wish that Auto Mag had color pictures and more of them. Maybe someone can sweet talk Jim Cate to post color pictures on this forum. Especially if its serial number does not have a suffix character.

Norm,
I have sent you Jim's email via PM... Why don't you drop him a line and see if he will share photos...? Regards, Pete... |
