Default Mauser Interarm Lugers

Mauro

I have some numbers for you.

6" 9mm 11.013883
6" 7.65 10.005264

4" 7.65 RG0877
4" 7.65 RG0878

4" 9mm 11.008453
4" 9mm 11.013344

all nib with papers but no dates, AE with swiss grip safety..

any idea of going price as he wants to sell but does not know what to ask. I looked at them and I think they all had Gesichert safety marks.

Thank you Jerry

Are the 4" 9mm guns 29/70 or 06/73 models? I'm looking for an 06/73.

I am trying to get him to state a price so I will let you know. I believe the 4" 9mm are the later model, just by the serial numbers. I am not up on the differences between the two types. From Simpsons pictures the only difference in interarms P08 and Swiss is the trigger. Any help is appreciated.

I will pass the info on.

HI Jerry,
Thanks for the serial number.
I will check my data base and I will let you know.

Really nice the two RG with consecutive serial number.

Ciao
Mauro

I am trying to get your book but no answer from your web site. I also missed one on ebay. So I have no reference about this type of luger. What is the significance of RG serial numbers. I though that they would be commemorative but they are in a regular box.

Jerry,
To order a book please email me:
m.baudino@libero.it

I have a few spare copies.

RG means Renato Gamba. Mr Gamba was the Italian importer of Mauser Parabellum in the '70. He made also the HSc model using a Mauser Patent.
When the Mauser Parabellum came back, he made a special order for Italy. He was not able to buy all the pistols he ordered. Therefore these unsold pistols were sold mainly on the USA market.

Ciao
Mauro

Zinfull, the differences between the 2 models are cosmetic, although significant. The later frame is the P.08 style, rather than the Swiss, although it still has the Swiss type grip safety. Also, the sideplate and trigger are different. The later model simply has features more like the German models made before and during the war. Anyway, if a price is determined, please post, as I'm interested in getting a "P.08" model to complement my Swiss.

If you have a P08 with AE, I'm definitely interested.

If Craig passes, I might want one of the 6"ers.

I am trying to get him to commit to a price. Will let you know what happens. He is heading out soon to Min. and driving back so there might be a 2 week gap of info. Don't loose all your money on the Super Bowl.
