The case that Baby Luger is in was custom made by Les Center of Center Custom Cases. www.centercustomcases.com/
Les, worked out all the dimension details, arrangement of accessories, type of liner all to my specs. I selected a cobalt blue or royal blue velvet liner as I wanted something a bit different from the burgandy or green liners normally fine with fine pistols. He also had laser engraved a German Eagle on the top per my request. I had also specified that the case hold the hardshell holster that was also custom made. Jerry Burney made this hardshell holster from scratch to fit this baby Luger. I had specified a buckskin color as I thought it would look good with the blue liner and again I wanted something different. Jerry can be reached at email lugerholsterrepair@earthlink.net He is just about the premiere repairer of Luger holsters too. He used authentic thread to restitch a 1938 hardshell that I gave to my father in law as a birthday present. Hugh Clark made the baby Luger and it is pretty darn accurate! He also did the grip work and you cant even see a line where the shortened pieces are joined. GT made one of the bottoms of the two magazines. Impeccable work from all four of these craftsman.

Wow!! What a piece of art work.

I'm wondering, though, why he chose an Erfurt for the conversion, as the machine work on these is generally much ruffer than a DWM's.

Also, this little Luger reminds me of a Baby Nambu.

Notice the toggle knobs are flush with the sides of the frame ears and the frame rails at the front are beveled both copied from GL' baby(see Kenyon's Lugers at Random, page 91). His also had a checkered safety and grip safety that this Erfurt doesnt. The gun also has had the lanyard loop removed and the rectangle area under the loop staple filled in with weld metal. A smooth gun to the touch in the palm. The beveled rails make the gun go into a pocket or holster a little easier. Double CLICK each thumb to see the full size picture!!

Took Thor's Erfurt to range today and it shoots great. Machine work and finishing is awesome and not like that of Erfurt.

Good job Thor!
