Looking forward to the after pictures |

Looks like someone "polished it" with a file.

Thor's pics--for me, anyway--show up if I change browsers from Firefox to I.E. Pics posted by anyone else seem to show up with no problem.

Does anyone personally know Thor? Ted was doing some work for me and I hadn't heard from him or seen him post regularly on FB.
I don't want to spread false information but a quick google search brought up some worrying information on a funding website that he might have been in an accident at his house... Hopefully I am wrong. Prayers out to him if not. |

Now that you mention it, I have not seen Ted post on FB for quite some time. He was usually quite active, his last post was April 3. He is working on a P38 for me.
I do hope you are wrong as well. Prayers out if he is not doing well. |

Yes the funding website says an accident happened on April 5th which made me think it coincided. The benefactor of he funding site is his wife's name and is his city which only confirms it more.
The funding page does mention to share it I just didn't wan't to overstep any boundaries. From the updates he is getting better but has some long recovery ahead. People always say not to restore Lugers, but I am one of those people that actually wanted a "Thor luger".... |

The CafeRacer,
Would you mind sending me a PM with a link to the funding website? I sent Ted my P38 because of Ted's reputation and the fact that someone had stripped the barrel of it's finish, so no harm in having it redone in my opinion. Ted's work speaks for its self. Thanks Paul |
