OK Guys, here is the photo of the Mauser pistol that I tried to post a couple of days ago. Courtesy of Ted, you will be able to see what mauser was working on. I don't know if this ever got produced, but the advertisement looks good. I know this is not a Luger, but I thought you would be interested in this pistol.

It's pretty neat! I have also seen pictures of sheetmetal autos with a delayed blowback type of operation....I think in Buxton's book?......That might be what Patrick had in mind! till...later....G.T.
