Whatya make of this?-Really OT
I saw this on a local news channel here today.
REALLY got my curiousity up! They just dont send these just anywhere on a whim! "(Holloman Air Force Base-AP) -- Holloman Air Force Base will be sending stealth fighters to the Western Pacific region. Base officials announced Monday that the 49th Fighter Wing received a deployment order and will be sending some F-117A Nighthawks and support personnel. Officials didnâ??t say how many of the stealths and personnel will be going and the length of the deployment hasnâ??t yet been determined. Stealths played a role in the 1991 Gulf War and in the opening salvos of the current war in Iraq. Holloman officials say the deployment is part of an ongoing measure to maintain a presence and demonstrate the continued U.S. commitment to security responsibilities throughout the region." I dont know how long this link will work. Stealth Fighters

I believe Western Pacific would put them all over the Korean penninsula. Unlike our last president, I think that this one is concerned with the dwarf in North Korea and his nuclear ambitions. Our last president seemed to only be concerned with his own personal ambitions and appetite.

Yep.
Those extortionists need to understand the word "no", in North Korea. They've been bleeding us and several other countries for "aid" (blackmail, while their "system" flat ain't working), and now they want "more aid" in exchange (which they already are taking) for not going nuclear, while lying about not going nuclear. Them and Iran... Some societies must teach bald faced lying at a very early age, engrained into the national character... Whatever some may say, a tip of the hat to George W. for standing up, where others have fiddled with zipper mechanisms, 940 pages worth... Frank H. |

It is interesting that they made a big deal about it in the local news but I have not seen it mentioned anywhere else in the national media even though it was an AP (Associated Press) story.

I'm really suprised the US Air Force would leak that out. Maybe it's a hoax and just a threat to the N.Koreans to get them to comply. I heard on our news (with Dan Blabber-Rather) that we had made some sort of give and take kind of deal. Giving them some sort of incintive to disarm. I dunno what's up.
