Default New to the Luger

Hi all- I'm new to the Luger world but my have the possibility to obtain a WWI 9mm Luger. It will be a quick review process- so hopefully I'll be able to post photos tonight and gain some of your knowledge fairly quickly.

All I know thus far is it's been in hiding for some time and has a tag on it stating that a spring is missing. All numbers supposedly match, with the exception of the magazine.

I do not know the serial # yet, but am doing some research on how to decipher it for when I do get it!

Springs are no problem, so get some photos and we'll give them a look.
Welcome aboard!

Welcome. Please post your photos HERE on the Lugerforum, and not on an external site with links... Used the GO ADVANCED option and then MANAGE ATTACHMENTS to post your photos.

Travis

Welcome to this Forum of Luger enthusiasts.
I'm sure here you'll find a lot of answers and an awful lot to learn slowly day by day.
I'm looking forward to see your photos.

Sergio

Hi Travis and welcome to the forum.

There are quite a few things that can impact the value and price of a Luger. Original finish is needed for a collectible, and this can sometimes be difficult to determine if you don't have experience.

Something may appear matching, yet not be correct. Do post pictures before making any offers.
