Luger cleaning tools

I have just purchased a 1915 DMS Luger with holster. It has the small take down tool but there is nothing in the long pouch on the side of the holster. Could someone tell me what was originally in there?

If your holster is the standard WWI military holster for the 4" pistol, the pouch on the front edge of the holster is for the spare magazine.
