Default Question about 70's "Mauser Parabellum"

Were any made with grip safety, front strap hump, stock lug, and 6" barrel??? (All of these!) In either caliber???

If so, was there a distinct model number or name for it???

Thank You!

You don't have Vlims book to look it up?

If Vlim doesn't see this, I will get my copy out and look through it.

Very few ware made with the stock lug. It was welded onto a normal frame and contoured to take the stock (LP08 & Navy commemoratives, as well as a few oddball testpieces and special order pistols).

Since the stock lug was welded on, it was a lot thicker/higher than the pre-1945 ones.

There was not a distinct model number assigned to these.

I did find this one on GB -

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=301687661

No stock lug, but pretty much all else...

$1850+ seems...steep...

I think I like the 7.65 6" barrel band/sight base better than the 9mm...(If I'm thinking of the correct pic I saw some time back)...

I looked at that Parabellum, and though that even though it is nice, that the price is too high. Perhaps someone will prove me wrong....the owner hopes so.

Mauser seems to have made a Navy with all the features I like...

No, I don't have the book...If I bought every Luger book, I couldn't buy anything else...

I just recently purchased an unfired 06/73 6in bbl. in 9mm. I have no business looking for another, but my eyes don't listen to my brain. It is a sickness!!

Default Addiction..................

I think in the long run it has probably cost a lot less so far than several of my other addictions.

Hey, lets get realistic; all you have to do is feed it and clean it. A nice fondle every once in a while and back in the safe it goes..........................
