Post Way off topic question about signed book.

This is way off topic, but have received lots of help here. Recently picked up a neat book and was curios if anyone knew what the value might be. Its Douglas MacArthur's Reminiscences. It is copy 968 of 1000, first edition deluxe copy. On the inside cover it has a facsimile signature of Douglas MacArthur, and an autograph of Jean MacArthur. Book is 100% with cardboard sleeve and protective cardboard cover. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Not a clue Mike... you might try using Google to look up some rare book websites and ask if they have a copy and how much they are asking... won't cost you anything, and it should ballpark the retail value for you...

You are welcome, I just got back from a three day canoe camping trout fishing trip on the Elk river in Tenn, am leaving out tonight on a backpacking trip to the Sipsey Wilderness area for a couple of days. Went coyote hunting this morning. I have a den located, will change the pack's singing style when I get back. I love it here. Way too many places to go and have fun. Gotta go back to work Monday though.
