New Luger owner from Florida
I just joined Lugerforum and I bought my first Luger, a 1910 DWM, on the way! I posted pics in another thread and will post my own when I get it. I have been collecting C&R rifles for a couple years (love the M1 Garand) and decided to focus on pistols starting this year. I also picked up the book series Pistole Parabellum (the first edition) to educate myself on Lugers and for future reference. I'm worried that Lugers will be like my Garands, I buy my first and they quickly multiply!

Welcome!
Welcome to the forum and the addiction. I began by wanting just one Luger "shooter". Now I have about ten mostly collectible Lugers. Good luck with your own Luger "journey".

Welcome. I just recently purchased my first Luger, a shooter grade. Would love to own a "collector" grade but I like to shoot my guns. Always wanted a Luger now I got one, my eyes are now on a M1 Garand any suggestions on acquiring one?

JB the best option would be to drive to the CMP North Store and hand pick a rifle. If not, join the GCA and send in a mail order form. As of today, the only have one grade for sale besides snipers. There's a good chance service and/or field grades may return for order but you have to act quickly before they get backed up and close sales. Either way I would buy from the CMP this year as they are near the end (Korean Grands aside.)
