Default Firing Pin price

New guy here. I bought a DWM Luger with matching numbers except for the firing pin. I found a firing pin for sale that has the same number on it as the last 2 numbers in the serial number. The price is $40. Is that too high?

Hi Tom,
$40.00 is the going price for a NON matching pin, since it matches your gun you should jump on it and say "thank you" to the seller.

Agree with above - when I want to check a value, I check eBay, gunbroker and the forums

You can look at what sarco offers as repro and figure double-triple that for an original part

Research is a good thing

Thank you gentlemen. I bought the firing pin. Now, my DWM Luger is all matching except grips and trigger bar.

Tom,
You may be changing parts that were not numbered, it this is your 1920 commercial.

Another poster mentioned that commercial lugers did not have numbered trigger bars. Mine does (#23). Is this true then?

The 23 is a mis-match and quite probably replaced sometime in the past.
