Default Fake "SS"-marked magazine and nice Simson Luger

Found this fake SS mag on www.egun.de, it was sold for 30.- Euro

--and here another auction from another seller:

This Simson Suhl Luger was sold for only 955.00 Euro ....
all # matching except mag

http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=2845932

I always thought Simsons sell at much higher prices. Am I wrong?

Thumbs up

I`d like to find some "SS" stuff too...

Just hoping, that people will find more good, original things.
It`s just great what the real collectors have done for us.
More people should find the truth from this FORUM.
Thanks!

Andy,
The Simson looks like it may have been refinished. That might account for the sale price.

Yes, its obviously refinished or at least "dipped"... and the two look-alike mags if not matching police Vopo mags, look like vopo mags....

Its also in euro's and in europe where luger prices are cheaper.

955 euro's equals 1,231.66 USD

Rich, Ed,
you are right, if the price seems too good, there is always a catch.

The pictures of the mags (red background) do not belong to the Simson Luger. (Different auction of another seller)
The markings were added to the VOPO mags.
It is just one mag, shown at one photo from both sides.

So if it was a genuine SS marked magazine, would that mean that in an emergency, it would be loaded before a Wehrmacht magazine???
