Default 1939 Zeitz P08 holster....

Today, I received this P08 Holster, manufactured by Albin Scholle Zeitz, dated 1939.

A bit of surface dryness on top and nose, but the leather is otherwise quite supple and in great shape.

The belt loops, strap, buckle and pull strap are all fully intact.

There is a number, 7313, inked inside the flap. I don't know it's significance, but appears to be wartime, judging from the script.

Someone, perhaps the original owner, has scratched their initials into
the surface of the outer flap.

Overall, it's a holster in wonderful shape, but I am hoping that the experts among you can provide any information about which I may be unaware?

Thanks, in advance..
Bob.
