Default canvas snail drum carrier.....

First I'm new here but am known on a few of the gun boards like the 1919A4.com forum....
I have had a few Luger's over the years, right now I have a 1915 dated artillery Luger it's been re-blued and I have a repro stock holster combo for it.... have a GT modified snail drum from Gun Parts ordered ...
looking at this and the other Luger forum it seems there is a lot of interest in the repro snail drums... can someone here supply me in a pm some accurate measurements on the canvas/cloth snail drum carrier? for both the type I and type II... one question I can see on the photos of originals in the center of the back panel there is some square stitching I am making an assumption that there is maybe a leather re-enforce on the inside where the drum may wear through? anything I make will be stamped as a repro so nobody to pass this off as an original but I think there is a need for this accoutrement...... any help appreciated..

Allen
